I'd like to know if anyone has figured out the memory limits on the Radio Shack 1994 and 1995 remotes? If so, what are they? I'm trying to determine if they have more, less, or the same amount of memory as the Cinema6 and 7s. Thanks.

On a Cinema7 there seems to be 180 programming "units". A single step in a macro sequence uses one unit. Each remapped or advanced code programmed key uses 4 units.

Learned keys use a different section of memory, and the number of learned keys you get varies with the varying length of IR commands taught. Most get from 12 to 30 keys taught before running out of learn memory.

The only way to test is to keep count as you program in keys, and keep programming in until you can't do it anymore. That's how I deduced this info.

As far as I know the Radio Shack remotes have the same amount of memory as their One For All counterparts. The 1995 (if it is learning -- I haven't seen this specified anywhere and I don't see any dedicated learning keys) will have the same amount of memory as the 1994. One point to consider is that the 1995, if learning, will feature the same limitations as the One For All counterpart -- storing codes only on the dedicated buttons.
