Hello guys,

I have a Nevo SL here, and am looking for the best standalone media player (it would be wired to the AV receiver and the front projection system).

What would be delightful would be to find a HD-capable one. But any experience with a "media adapter" or whatever it's called is welcome !

I just ordered the D-Link DSM-320. It seems like it has all of the right features and UEI (Nevo) told me the other day their R&D folks said the Nevo will see it on the wireless network, as it is UPnP.

I should be getting it tomorrow. I'll report back.

Since we are selling the NevoSL, I wanted to be able to recommend a solution for our customers.

Drop me an email if you have any questions.

Are there already some experiences to share about the NevoSL/DSM-320 combination?

I was just at training last week and they said that the model 320 from D-Link is the only model from D-Link that is currently supported. All of the Roku products will work. They are releasing new software in a few weeks that may add some devices. They have another release planned for Jan.-Feb. that will add a lot of "stuff".

Cinema&Sound I noted your comment I wondered if anybody had got a NevoSL, Nevo Music Server and Roku SoundBridge M1000 working together?

I have a Roku Soundbridge and am having problems getting the NevoSL to send .mp3 files, from the Nevo music Server, to it. I get a message 'can't play uPnP song'. If I use a different application e.g. Cidero to control the music then the Roku will play the music. If I navigate on the Roku I can see the Nevo Music server and play files.

I just can't use the NevoSL to control the music.

Get the latest 1.1 version, it supports more UPnP devices with improved performance! There is also a document about supported UPnP Server/Players on mynevo.com

Hi,
I have a DSM320 and NEVO SL 1.1.
The problem I have is that the OSD on the DSM does not disappear completely when starting a movie. Anyone have a solution for this?

I've read in the Sonos forums that the Nevo will control it. Sonos is awesome for multi-room playback, but probably too expensive if you need one room only.

I read the Sonos Forum and I don't see one report that calls it a solid or usefull controll solution.

Please provide a link to some experiances who said not only that it works.. but actually is usefull. I don't mean some sort of mashed crapp slung together either.

The whole strenth of the Sonos is the slick easy to grasp interface and if that is not doable...
