It's no secret that the Nevo reseller network is "sketchy" at best.  Most people simply don't have a local installer who sells/supports Nevo remotes.  And no offense to the stable, established CIs out there, but it's a high turnover business.  Even if you find a guy who will sell to you,  you might well call a few months later to buy accessories....only to discover he's a landscaper now!  It's ridiculous for owners of a "high-end" product to be at the mercy of people like this, and frankly, it's a reason many decide on a different product.

Having some sense that the company itself has your back gives buyers a lot of security. As it is, owners cannot call Nevo and there is no customer support at all on the web site.  They don't even acknowledge your existence if you're an end-user.

So yeah...an easier way to get parts would be nice.

That is the model. The end user needs to go to their installer and the installer will hopefully take care of their issues. I do it several times a month for people who bought a Nevo from me. No dealer, no service but that is the installer model.

All of these people here complaining for such things as getting their screens replaced are end users who bought them from eBay, etc. If they had been bought legitimately, they would simply call the CI that they bought it from, and UEI would replace it. You bought it from Flea Bay (as someone aptly named it) so this is what you deserve! Stop bitching as you did not buy it from a CI. You are just too damn cheap!

Brodyboy: Your the one who doesn't know what he is talking about. Like I said, if you break the screen and you are an Authorized Nevo Dealer, or one of your customer's screen is broken, all you have to do is prove to Nevo that it was purchased legitamately, and they replace it, dipshit. I doubt that you are authorized for Nevo. You are probably the bozo who cracked the screen.
