I am having an issue where I cannot get my NC-50 to connect to activesync.
I was attempting to connect to it to upgrade the firmware after upgrading the firmware on my Q50. I have successfully connected my NC-50 in the past for the initial setup, although that was 8 months ago or so.

I have read all the posts on the forums and tried all of the following plus a few things

1) Uninstalled and reinstalled both Nevo Studio and Activesync
2) Tried multiple USB cables including the original cable with a slightly longer mini plug end
3) Tried different usb ports on both front and back of PC
4) Tried a second PC
5) OS is XP Pro SP2
6) Active sync is ver 4.5 bld 5096
7) NevoStudio Pro is version 2.00.974
8)I have tried to use the firmware update wizard regardless of the activesync state. It cannot find the NC-50
9) I have successfully connected my Q50 to this same setup and upgraded configs as well as firmware.
10) After the reinstall I do see that windows automatically installs the driver when I plug it into the usb port. I cannot get the windows prompt to manually tell it which drivers to load

I suppose it is possible that the USB port on the NC-50 is bad, although that seems strange since I have connected to it previously.

Any thoughts?
Thanks
Dan

The NC-50 does not use active sync.

What version of windows are you using?

Try installing NSP on a diiferent computer and see if the NC-50 is found then.

Ahhah! That is what I was missing! I mistakenly assumed it used the NC-50 used activesync.

I got it all working now... thanks so much for the helpful direction!
