Question,

I have a Nevo Connect and was wondering if I can plug a cable from one of the outputs into the input block of a Niles IR block (Niles RCA-HT2) – Is this possible?
What I am trying to do –I upgraded my remote to RF but I still have keypads around the house which use straight IR into a Niles IR block. I want to avoid having to run all new emitters to all the components just for the new RF where the Niles has a empty input block – the input block has 4 leads to it and the emitters I think only have 2. Not sure if what I am asking for is even possible. Anyone?

Hi,

I have used a 3.5mm MONO plug from the NC-50 to a Xantech connecting block many times before.

Make sure you use a MONO plug and go to the INPUT side of the connecting block. You can have multiple IR inputs paralleled up. You need to connect IR and Ground.
