I am going to use RS232 to control my projector. The projector is about 50 feet away from the NevoConnect module and the RS232 Serial Module cable is only 12 feet. To extend this, should I use a long RS232 cable plugged into the Serial Module, or should I extend I put an extension on the other end of the module (with the 1/8" phone plug), or do I need to get an RS232 extender and use Cat5?

Use these DB9 (female, because the Nevo serial cable is male) to RJ45 adapters: [Link: monoprice.com]You can basically use Cat5 cable to extend the connection.
