Hi, does anyone know if I can program a nevo q50 to send out a continuous command as long as I hold down the button (like a volume key works). I purchased a bluebeam ir to bluetooth converter & in order to register it to my ps3 I must hold down the #2 continuously until it registers but it only seems to be sending a momentary signal. Can I change this? Thanks

Where did you get the IR codes from?

It sounds like a bad learn.

If you did learn the codes then try learning them again.

Repeat is standard on all buttons but if the code only learnt as a non repeat code then that is how the Nevo will send it.

By default a code will not repeat in a macro. You need to double click on the code in the macro and change it's duration. This will mimic a push and hold.

I downloaded the ccf file from Audio Authority website. I am going to try & download them again . None of the buttons are continuous so maybe there is something wrong. Thanks Tom

or you could just create another button that has the 2 command linked to it, but set the duration of the button for a few seconds.  then just label the new button "bluetooth link"  or something like that.

You can change the duration in NevoStudio by selecting the button and going to the Properties and Actions menu. You will see the command there in the Actions tab. Right click on the SEND command and choose EDIT. Check off the Item duration and increase to 3 or 4 seconds for pairing.

Thanks to all that tried to help, not having much luck with the blue beam codes & now my old computer that I use to program the nevo will not start & my new computer has a 64 bit version of vista & I cant get nevo software to work on it. I am stuck now. As sydinstaller said all of the other codes seem to repeat as long as you hold them down. Even in the emulator when I click on one of the bluebeam codes the red signal at the top of the screen in the white bar is only momentary even if I hold the click down. I cant work on it now but any help is much appreciated. Anyone know if there is any way to get nevo studio pro to work with 64 bit vista. When I try to load it a message comes up that it does not support 64bit processors. Thanks

Sorry to hear about the computer problems TC. I just wanted to post the solution to everyone here. When setting up the Nevo remotes you need to map the "2" command to one of the hard buttons on the remote... not the touch screen. The touch screen does not register the press and hold. When I did this to a hard button I was able to successfully register the BlueBeam on the first attempt.
