Anyone know what the format needs to be? I can't get the software to take a raw hex code. Can someone post up a sample of what they entered into that big hex code box to get it to work?
thanks

Post an example of the raw code you are trying to use and tell us what the code is for: model, brand and what function. When you say "raw" it may not have the necessary structure to be recognized. It may need to be converted to hex.
Here is Pronto Hex for a single command and these paste in and work ok:
0000 005D 0000 000D 0069 001B 001B 001B 001B 001B 0035 001B 001B 001B 0035 001B 0035 001B 001B 001B 0035 001B 001B 001B 001B 001B 001B 001B 001B 047D

Thanks.. that looks like hex already. I was just looking for an example and nothing specific. How does one find the codes for various components and functions? I wish the software would let you see the hex codes for the IR codes you can download from within the software.

lol, bet a lot of guys are wishing for that, but UEI is very protective of their enormous IR library (and rightfully so, it is by far the best that I've run into), so I wouldn't hold your breath on that feature.

That's true I didn't think of that, but so far I've found the library spotty at best. Some of the codes aren't labelled correctly, and some functions they don't even have, so I find myself doing a lot of learning even though they have quite a wide range and number of components (I've yet to find a component that I needed not listed in their library).
