Hi there,

Just recently picked up an Nevo SL and I'm wondering if anyone has hacked it to run any other applications (i.e. surf the web, games, etc.)?

I figured there has to be a way. Also it would be really cool if you could get it to run VNC...then you could pull up your comps desktop and get it to control iTunes!

Cheers!

Know this is an old thread but....

OK followed the link and cant see anything that allows you to install an app on the NevoSL h/w. Appears to be locked down. If you drop in files with ActiveSync they go away after off/on. NevoStudio installs the update cabs.

Closest thing I seen was a disussion on hacking the Viewsonic SD to get to the CE shell (runs Embedded Nevo if you can even get them any more).

Am not the biggest CE hacker tho' if anyone can say how or explain chrisb70's link would be appreciative.
