I have been searching forums all morning, and cant find any answers on when Z-Wave support for the Q50 is going to be a reality. I have a job coming soon and need to use Leviton Z-WAVE lighting with a Q50.

Any word on this yet?

I don't know when they are going to put this into the product either, but hopefully sooner than later.

Although technically it is possible right now; just not with two way communication. You could use the Vizia RF RS232-to-Zwave adapter.

I've only played around with this once and haven't actually used it in a real install, but the concept is pretty simple: You send RS232 strings to the adapter from the NevoConnect that tell it to dim light node#4 to 50%, or node#9 to 0% (off), etc.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but it seems like it would work.

Nevo doesn't control the Vizia lighting switches... already tried it. The switches do, however, act as repeaters, or nodes, in the Z-Wave network.

If I remember correctly, Leviton makes a Z-Wave controller for around $150.00, that has scheduling and zone control. If I remember, that controller can be controlled via IR, which can be done with the Nevo. Search the Leviton Vizia hardware for that remote.

Last I heard, Nevo had no plans to interface with the Z-Wave switches.

Hey guys - I'm confined to a do not tell from Nevo but you should check out what they'll have at CEDIA this year - I think you'll like what you see and hear.
