Hello all, this is my first post so please be nice. I am using the nevo SL product line in conjunction with 3-4 NevoPlayer zones and everything is working great. I am trying to extend the NevoPlayer control (specifically 'skip forward') to devices that don't use the Nevo SL for communication. Before I converted to NevoSL for media control I was using a combination of Homeseer and iTunes, and I was able to trigger iTunes control with IR, x10, even XML web triggers for IP phones, etc. I guess here are my specific questions:
1) Is there any other interface into NevoPlayer control other than a Nevo SL?
2) Assuming the answer to number 1 is 'no', does anyone else know of uPnP players that have more of a CLI or even a control front end (rewind, fast forward, skip, etc)
3) Any other ideas?
