Hello,

Is there a way to add a "clean" new device, and create all the buttons, and learn all IR codes?
Whenever I add a device, there is a template with some buttons that I don’t need, and I can't delete then.
I think that is useful when adding a remote control that isn't on the database.

Thanks.

Why not just create a device without creating the associated page collection(s)? In the last step before adding the device, there is a checkbox that allows you to create a device without creating pages, hence no template. Is this what you are asking?

Hi,

Ok, here is a little trick I found.

Start a new job.
Add a new device.
Learn a remote.
select device type.
press start (on lcd screen of remote)
using the scroll wheel change pages until you see a page layout that has the navigation buttons on it, it will also show the 4 hard buttons.
select one of the hard buttons.
learn any IR command onto that button.
Finish learning.

You will now have a completely blank device.

Enjoy.

D.
