Marc, Check out the Nevo Networking white paper on my site. Maybe there is some tiny setting that needs attention with your WiFi. [Link: remotequest.com]Regards...Dave

1.1 version is now released with better WiFi, battery life and more UPnP Server/Players supported! Make sure to checkout all the new documentation on mynevo.com first. They actually used a DLink and an Escient in the EHX show last week! There is a document on mynevo.com about supported UPnP server/players too.

By the way, to use the automatic update feature in NevoStudio make sure you are running the released version(1.0.0.364) and have registered using the registeration wizard.

Don't forget we are in Aus just passing. These products do not work here. All those in Aus. Apparently we have some UEI people coming over to resolve some of the issues I have been complaining about. Let's see what happens.
I still think the features of this remote are worth waiting for. Hopefully we will get some closure. Anyway, that's what my therapist has said I need. :-)

Have you had any joy yet Marc?
I'm in Australia and considering buying the Nevo, but I'd like some closure on this issue before I pull the trigger.

I've just spoken to the NevoSL's Australian distributor and discovered that they are sending the Australian version of the DLink Media Lounge to the US for testing.
Apparently the Australian DLink Wireless hardware uses different firmware (probably as a result of different FCC regulations).

Hi everyone,
After all our kicking and screaming, it would seem Nevo have taken interest in Aus. They sent over a couple of guys to educate distributers on the finer points of Nevo set up and the distributer is keen to help if need be.
I have installed 3 NevoSl remotes using 2 DSM-320s as breakout boxes for two zones. The new version 1.2 is quite stable and works with the Aus version of the DSM-320. (This was discovered by accident in a training session). The Nevo has 2 different modes for battery life, but in a bad WiFi area the long life option can not be used.
A word of warning. Before you install any WiFi remote, do a quick site test to check for interference.
The programming features of Nevo studio are very easy and good for project to project transfer. Still unable to modify the "Media zone" page. But hopefully they are working on this. Also, don't try to run "video" files directly thru the nevo.
Anyway, all in all I think a promising remote now these issues have been sorted. Looks good and IR is actually very good through the Nevo Link. Also the only universal remote on the market that has media navigation. (That is of usable size and is not a tablet).
Go for it!!
