1. VUDU's remote is strictly RF
2. VUDU just released an IR adaptor for use with "some learning remotes" While VUDU's website mentions UEI as one of the many companies that they are working with, currently the only remotes "supported" by the new device are the Harmony line and the Pronto line.

My question is this: if the Pronto line works with this device, doesn't the Nevo's software convert the Pronto's files...thus making it indirectly compatible with the Nevo, or am I giving the Nevo's conversion software too much credit?

I haven't worked with a VUDU box yet, but I just took a quick look in the Add Device Wizard and while using model based setup, I see that the VUDU brandname is in there and if you enter in "VUDU" as a model number, it comes up with a device called the "VUDU Box". Although I haven't tried this myself, it sounds like you don't have to convert any Pronto files to get this to work.

Let us know if this is a resonable solution because I was holding off on offering a VUDU box because I didn't know if I could properly control it.

Thanks Ry. I had no idea VUDU was already listed on mynevo.com. I looked at it and decided to go ahead and spend the $40 to see if it works. I'll let you know, thanks again for your help.

The adaptor works fine with my Q50 (despite that VUDU doesn't list Nevo as a compatible device). It's worth the $40 to return to a one remote setup!

Thanks for the heads up om the VUDU codes via web setup ry-dog! They work PERFECTLY.

That's good to know. I have a client I have been working with and we were leaving the Vudu on the other remote, due to the RF issue.

Thx for the input!
