Has anyone managed to get this combination working with WiFi? I can't even get my remote to associate with the router when all security is turned off, suggesting that it is something more fundamental (either incompatability or user incompetence on my behalf!).

If anyone has got this working, any chance of posting the relevant settings you have used.

Many thanks in advance
Justin

I have not used this router, but a quick search shows it is an N series, so I would assume you have to explicitly turn on the 802.11b (such as NevoSL) compatibility somewhere on the configuration...

Agree with JustPassing.. the most common problem in 'N' routers is that they don't all have a 'mixed B & G only' mode. The Linksys 300N and 350N are the exception to the rule.
Nevo will not work with any 'N' settings.

If you are a dealer, go to the mynevo website and get the 'Wi-Fi Control system Setup.pdf' file. It gives you all the preferred wi-fi settings.

NevoGuy,

Just for the record, I have a Netgear N router which works fine with the Nevo SL and also with the Nevo S70.

This model is WNR854T. It supports b/g/n mixed mode. However, I swear I have had the S70 working without changing the setting from 11n max speed.

Personally, I have stuck with Linksys routers (although D-Link has been good to me as well). I believe the model number for the one that I have used the most is the SRX200. I have had a lot of NevoSLs interact with that router and it has been very good.

Since this is the first time you are working with the NevoSL, you should definitely do what NevoGuy suggested and take a look at the stuff they have in the dealer section of the site because you will most likely need to tweak some of the settings on the Linksys router to work reliably.

Ok total Newbie here to the NevoSl. I am able to connect the remote to my network, at least it says connected. I have also connected the NevoLinks, but for the life of me I cant get NevoStudio to connect to the SL wirelessly? Any ideas here? Instructions say to check to make sure you are pointing to the wireless adapter, but what if I have it on my main pc and it does not have a wireless adapter (network card), do i need to go get one for my home PC. I have a linksys cable gateway that I have wireless for my home, for my work, but not for the main pc, any ideas?

I have a Netgear and NevoSL at my moterh-in-laws home. It took me most of the weekend to get the settings to where they would communicate. It is possible, but it may take a while to get it right.
I spent all my money on cigars, liquor, and golf. The rest I wasted.

ok thanks. Well when I am connected to my home network via the nevosl, it wont connect wirelessly to the nevo studio, it does show my nevolink is connected. What do I need to do to get the nevostudio to connect wirelessly to the NevoSL? yes all enables are checked.
