How does everyone set their power management for the Nevo while "On Battery"? Does anyone have it set to Turn WiFi off: NEVER and Turn Neo off: NEVER?

When I input these as my settings, I have noticed an inconsistency in charging via cradle (it won't charge except via USB). It could be a short in my battery somehow but it seems that these settings may have something to do with it.

I'm hoping with a little information I can determine whether my chargin issues are hardware or settings related. Thanks for your help (since CUSTOMER SUPPORT hasn't responded at all!!)

BTW, my cradle settings are 15 min/30min/1min

I think I may have found an issue with the latest firmware. I've change my remote power settings (on battery) back and forth a few times between Never/Never and 15min/15min. I haven't been able to charge consistently via the cradle using never/never but changing to 15min/15min seems to resolve this issue.

Has anyone else tried these settings sucessfully/unsucessfully or noticed similar problems under different settings? Any information here would be appreciated to help determine if it is a hardware issue I've seen or a software issue.

I have been attempting to replicate your problem. I have settings on battery and on cradle set to Never/Never and am having no problems with charging (touch wood) while on the cradle.
I have the latest firmware installed.
I will keep these settings for a bit longer to see if I notice anything.

Thanks MC. Your input will help me determine how I go about finding a fix for my problem (if its hardware related).

I had it set this way and for over a week and noticed that it drained the battery faster than it could be charged.I had to go back and put the settings to where everything turned off after 3 mins to get it to charge back to full.

Thanks Shawn. I think you MAY have hit the nail on the head (maybe). I could go several days before noticing a major battery life problem but once I did, it couldn't keep up. The only thing this can't explain is that I COULD "keep up" while plugged in via USB.

Currently I'm back on Never/Never but off at 3mins while on cradleto try to rest it quicker once I put it down (as opposed tto 30min).

So far so good, but we'll see...like I said it sometimes takes a few days.

Didn't charge again last night. Settings are the same as they've been in a week and suddenly decided not to charge. Gotta be something loose inside I guess.

Anybody got an explanation out there? UEI certainly isn't intersted in answering my questions. No response at all from them over the last 3 weeks or so.

Chris - any chance one of the prongs on the charger base is mis-aligned. I don't know exactly what each prong does but I might suggest you look at that. Make sure the contacts are clean on both the unit and the charger stand.
