Hi,
I recently got a Nevo SL remote control. However, it did not come with a software CD. I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to burn me a copy or perhaps create an image of the CD and put it on my FPT server.
I would really appreciate all the help on this. PLEASE!

I didn't get this remote from the store, I got it from eBay as a "Brand New" remote. When I got it, it was not in its original box and did not have the CD. It is also password locked, and I don't have the password. Now the guy who sold it disappeared.
PLEASE! Can anyone get me this software!?!

Just goes to show why you should not buy programmable high tech equipment from unauthorized sources. Had you spent a little more money, and got it from a local custom installer, you would be a lot happier and you would have been supporting your local economy too. Sorry, but I hope you do not get the programming software. It's exclusivity is what keeps guys like me and other custom installers employed.

Ahhh.... the classic Installers vs DIY'ers debate. It's a fair point about keeping the Installation trade running, but it assumes the consumer has the money to pay for a premium service. Not all of us do. My hobby is Home Automation, so it would make sense that I could program the remote for myself. And there are many pre-programmed templates available on the web. I also purchased my Nevo from Ebay and am pleased with buying it at an exceptionally good price. I guess you win some - you lose some.

The attachemnt was for use with Vista and it was setting up the Vista side of things not Nevo. If anybody can tell me how to upload a document i'll add it to the thread for those interested.
