I am working on a Xantech MRC -88 system that is in our showroom. The system works fine and I have a Mx-950 that will control it using the codes learned into it from the RC68 remote. Our next goal is to use the Nevo to control the Mrc with the Nevo link. The problem arose when I tried to learn the functions into the remote from the RC68. I tried several time with no positive results. So after many hours of frustration learning and failing, I tried to go at the problem other ways. I downloaded the pronto file with these codes and pasted them into the ir edit function on the Nevo studio software. The codes did seem short to me and the software kept comming back with a reply that the waveform is not supported by the Nevo software and that I should try learning the codes from the original remote. So I called Tech. support and they in more words than this said "Man that sucks for you". Does anyone else have experience with learning codes from the RC remote from Xantech into the Nevo and if so what did you do to fix it. I can usually do a search here on RC and get the answers I need, but no luck this time. If someone can lend some insight it would be well recieved. I am several hour into this project and since its for the showroom nobody is paying for the time but my boss and he would like to see some results. ( especially since the zone it is controlling is in his office) The code set for the MRC is the A-8 off the RC-68 and I am also using all the buttons on the RC-68 since I am controlling the XDTuner. I know Nevo has codes on the Studio if hooked up via web but they are not specific as to which code set on the Remote. Sorry to be so long winded but I didn't want to get scorched for not giving enough info.

Hi...would somebody be good enough to email me same said file? I have to do the same with a nevo on Saturday and am not getting any results with the mynevo.com commands, nor from the pronto .ccf I found on the RC files section (which is odd). I also cannot afford $170/£100 to just learn the codes and possibly never use it again. I could ebay it I suppose but I don't have the readies right now...grrr.

Any help would be muchly appreciated.

Phil
