i dont see sony in the list under lcd tv in nevo studio. i would like to have the video buttons so i can go to the right input instead of hitting tv/video 8 times. where can i find the 5 digit device code for the tv i have.

Are you using the "model-based" setup to try and find you model TV? It is a more comprehensive lookup. You will need to experiment how you put your model # in the search box. Try small portions of the model number and expand the search to 50 responses. You may not find the discretes there and you may have to find them elsewhere and paste the codes into your config.

the tv is brand new and i just emailed nevo to add the tv. im just a end user soo i dont know anything about hex codes or discretes and dont know where to look for these input codes.

What is the model that you are looking for. I have new Sony Bravia TV that I've recently programmed into my nevo. It may be of some help. The setup came from the Online Nevo database.

i haven't bought the tv im going to use the remote on yet but i was messing around with a different sony lcd, i just wanted to get everything set up before hand. the tv is the new X series kdl-40x1000 (japan part number) i dont even know if this tv is going to come here but i would like to have the video input codes. i searched for the 40 inch bravia v series its not in the list but the 32 inch s series is.
