Well, this may be flame-bait, but...

Our lighting control system includes an IR remote. A customer wants to use a Nevo instead, which I want to support. He would like the "hex codes". We know how to create Pronto codes from our codes, but not Nevo codes.

Any pointers on how to do this? Alternatively, is it easy to translate Pronto to Nevo?

Thanks - sorry if I didn't search past threads enough to answer this question - tried a little, but not sure I'm phrasing my search terms right to get an answer.

Since the recent software upgrade, you can paste hex code into buttons directly, in NevoStudio. I have pasted Pronto hex into a Nevo button and it worked perfectly. I do not know the actual Nevo SL hex code format but it appears it is very standardized, probably using Pronto Hex or other very standardized format, NEC or others.

Of course, the other option is to learn from the target remote into the Nevo and save yourself a lot of cutting and pasting. You may even be suprised to find the code set you need for the lighting is already on the NevoStudio data base.
