Starting to work with my new Nevo, and I'm a bit surprised at the number of components NOT available online. I've found a specific config for the Toshiba HD-A1, but have not found configs for:

Samsung BDP-1000
Sony KDS-R70XBR2
Pioneer VSX-84txsi
Tivo Series 3

arguably fairly popular devices. While I'll take the time to teach the Nevo from the component remotes if necessary, and I've tried searching a variety of ways (partial model, ANY, etc.), I'm curious if anyone here has found what has eluded me.

Also, I cannot seem to locate a table (if one exists) that mates the Nevo IR codes from Nevo Studio to known component models, to avoid the process of hunting through (in the case of the Sony) 31 different possibilities. Again, I'll do it, but shortcuts are always better :-)

Thanks

there have been many threads addressing this issue, look for posts by Dave D'Arche, i know he has given many suggestions. i personally dont even bother trying to find my exact model. i just get something close, download the file to the Nevo to test what commands work, then learn whatever is missing from the source remote.

Thanks...I'll do that.

I did find the custom installer section on Pioneer's web site, which has CCF's for just about everything, including the 84txsi. Converted using Nevo, and copy/pasted the converted file into my project, and I'm good to go on that device.

The hunt is on for the others...

Stealth,

The latest version (a month or two ago) had a pronto .ccf converter which works rather well on .ccf files. Also works with the newer .pcf files, but mostly for importing the graphics. Codes don't come over in the .pcf converter.
