Has anyone programmed a Yamaha RX2700 receiver using the Nevo SL software? I'm having a real hard time trying to figure out where to get a profile and how to get the Nevo to learn codes from the RX2700 remote.

If you contact yamaha technical they should be able to provide you with the discrete codes you all yamaha home cinema product. Only downside is that you will need to convert it to a format you can use on the nevo software.
Failing that the yamaha remote will give you access to all of the discrete codes (at least the old RX V2600 / 1600 did, not looked at the 2700 yet - any good?) all be it this is a bit of a long winded way of doing things.

I just looked up Yamaha receivers in the NevoStudio. There are about a hundred (not really) sets of codes to try. Add a new device, select the type of device and brand then do the "Use NevoSL to identify the correct device code for the device" and connect the nevo to the computer. it will temporarily download all the codes to your nevo, and you select the set that works the best. It's really slick.

Dave D'Arche has a Nevo project file for the 3300 Yamaha receiver. You can get it here: [Link: remotecentral.com] I think it should work for the 2700.
