Can you use the Nevo SL to browse a Sony 777 dvd collection and then load that dvd from the remote? I would guess you would need to export your dvd profiler to xml and then get it to the Nevo software somehow.
The 777 is controllable via rs232 or IR.

Unfortunately I don't believe that will work. The only way to do it is to import the pictures of the dvd's you have loaded in there, and then set macros to jump to that particular dvd. Much like the Pronto.

Now if some clever person wrote a UPnP compliant server program on a PC that interfaced to DVD profiler and served up images and meta data to the NevoSL, then had a UPnP compliant player that interfaced to the DVP-CX777ES via RS-232 to control it then the problem would be solved ! Obviously the protocol used would have to be similar enough to one already in use so that the NevoSL firmware / software won't need to be modified.
Any takers?
