I've recently upgraded to 2.0 and have not been able to get my NevoLink working since the upgrade. I believe the problem is that I must upgrade the firmware in the Nevolink however that option is not available in the NevoLink panel in NevoStudio. In NevoStudio, what would keep the two options "Discover NevoLinks" and "Enable Wireless Programming" greyed out? It is as though NevoStudio does not recognize the network. The PC does see the network as I'm currently using it now to get on the internet. Under Tools/NevoSL System Settings I have all checked. Under Tools/Manage Nevo Network Settings I have "Enable Auto Select" check and there nothing to select at the "Select Network Adapter".

Another piece of information that may help with this problem ...
I uninstalled 2.0.1 and reinstalled 1.0. I bring up NevoStudio, go to Tools and now all options including "Discover NevoLinks" are available. As soon as I update to 2.0, open NevoStudio, go to Tools and now the two options "Discover NevoLinks" and "Enable Wireless Programming" grayed out. With the inability to discover/communicate with NevoLink, there is no way to upgrade the NevoLink firmware so that it will communicate with the updated NevoSL.

I would like to go completely back to v 1.0 until this problem is resolved. Having updated the NevoSL after upgrading to v2.0.1, how does one down grade NevoSL back to it's version with NevoStudio 1.0?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

If I had to bet, it would be on the network connection settings... what networks do you see in your manage network settings? if you have multiple (wired and wireless), make sure you select the one connected to the same network as the NevoLinks. In the dialog, there is a drop down list with all your network adapters and the current IP settings for each. Select the good adapter and then check the “preferred” setting… by the way; what is the IP settings for this adapter? IP, subnet, gateway, DCHP? I had to call Nevo support when I upgraded to 2.0.1 since NevoStudio was using my VPN connection instead of the local, so they helped me adjust that.

There are no "Selected Network Adpater" available for selection and "Enable Auto Select" is checked. Any other thoughts are greatly appreciated.

My network adapter is a D-Link wireless router. Bear in mind this configuration worked flawlessly before I upgraded to 2.0.1. Unfortunately the cut/paste does not function inside the cmd dialog box so I will transcribe:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Physical Address .....................00-90-96-7B-48-1E

I tried the exact same config on my laptop and it works! I guess the only diff would be that I have selected the wireless adapter as my preferred, but still have the Auto Select enabled for when wireless is not connected and wired is!

Seems you do not have a preferred selected, maybe that's what is causing this! It should be worth the try!

That makes since to me as well. What would cause me not having any available to select?

I hardwired my laptop to the router and still I have nothing to select from in the "Manage Nevo Network Settings".
What I can't understand is how I fire up NevoStudio 1.0 and the "discover nevolink" option is available under the Tools tab and it finds the nevolink. I load up Nevo 2.0 and nothing. Unfortunately once you upgrade the SL you CANNOT downgrade back to it initial firmware; otherwise I would go back 1.0. I've sent all this info to Nevo tech, they are slow to respond and the only thing they have suggested is that the NevoLink is bad. I quickly ruled this out when I could see it with Nevo 1.0 plus too much of a coinencidence that the Nevolink would of stopped working right after I upgraded to 2.0.
