I am just finishing programming a Nevo I just purchased and can't determine whether it is possible to stream my audio files from the Nevo to my squeezebox. Anybody know if this can be done? Also, if not, can the Nevo stream to any new receiver/processor?

I have already programmed my Nevo to control my squeezebox but it would obviously be nicer to be able to stream directly from the Nevo so that I don't have to read the small text on the squeezebox to navigate my audio library.

Thanks.

Unless wrong, the Slim Devices Squeezebox is not UPNP compliant hence, no chance to have it working with NevoSL (which is a UPNP control point). A UPNP control point can decide what content a UPNP server should stream to a UPNP renderer. There can be as many control points, servers and renderers as needed. That's the beauty of UPNP.

Yeah... Nevo lacks a web browser.
You can't install Telecanto (sp). (The program for mobile devices like palms.)

So I guess its IR only untill someone write a something that would be compatable with Nevo server.

That's too bad. Is the Roku UPNP compliant? If so, might have to go that route...

Yes, Roku is UPNP compliant. See www.twonkyvision.com, you will also find in the Twonkyvision forum some discussions about the NevoSL. Do a search.
