My NevoSL has been working on wifi (statically configured) for a couple of months. However, it seems to have lost it's configuration, following a recent 'IP address clash' - not sure how or why.

I am now trying to reconfigure the IP address details but on the subnet mask line, it lists:255.255.255.24 whereas it should be 255.255.255.248. I can amend this and click OK but when I return to the IP config screen, the last digits have returned to 24. I am unable to connect to my wifi network.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions?

Thanks, stindig

How many Subnets' are in your system? Why are you changing the host numbers in your subnet? Is the UK default different from the US? How many systems are on your network? Does your ISP require the ((((255.255.255.248)))) setting? Are you changing the settings in your SL or on your NevoLink?

Save yourself some time and reset the default number to 255.255.255.0
Check your router( if you have one )to see if this setting is the same.
"BE CAREFUL WITH THE SWITCH!"
Restart the NEVO after you have made your changes.

My ISP has allocated me a number of IP addresses on a predefined single subnet - 255.255.255.248.

I'm changing the settings on my SL. The Nevolink is working fine.

The thing is, this was working fine until a week ago. Why won't the SL accept the subnet mask now?

stindig,

Try to load a simple file.... one device, one page, and one button.
"BE CAREFUL WITH THE SWITCH!"
Restart the NEVO after you have made your changes.
Load it and test the setting with the new file.

Why won't the SL accept the subnet mask
now?

This the firts time I've heard of this happening. Let's see if this works for you.

Took your advice and downloaded a small config. Instantly I could modify the IP address. I then reduced the size of my main config slightly and reloaded it - all working perfectly. Thanks for your advice.

The problem has returned. My NevoSL 'lost' its IP static address and now when I try and reconfigure it, it won't accept the last digit of the Subnet mask. I've tried a smaller file but with no success. I am certain that this is a bug.

NB I am using the following versions:

NevoSL: 2.0.0.582
Firmware: 2.0.1.16
