Good evening.

Just got my Nevo today. I know this might be a simple questions, but.....

The on/off switch is set to off? Is that the way it comes from the factory? I have the Nevo in the charging cradle.. will it charge with the switch in the off position? Do I need to turn the Nevo on before connecting it to my computer for the first time to update the firmware and install my configuration file?

Sorry for what seem like simple/amateurish question.. just want to be sure I understand my new toy.

Thanks.

Off is off (dead piece of plastic). When on, the Nevo will sleep (switch to stand by) after a user determined time interval.

Fairly important to read the instructions. They state that Nevo should not be connected to computer until all s/w installed. Also important to follow update instructions.

I concur. There are several bits of paper within the contents of your new remote, all of which should be read before use.

RTFM is all I have to say on this matter.
