Would it be possible on the Nevo to list DVDs in a megachanger (either my name or an icon with the name, i'm not fussy..) and the associate a macro with each one (for example, Display, Folder, 1, 2, 3, enter) to go to that particular slot on the megachanger and play the movie?

Just curious....

Thanks for the help.

Yes, that is certainly possible. You could create a simple line listing for song or artists and it would go to a macro for the changer to slot 123, for example.

You could also put DVD or album art icons and do the same thing.

In some other remotes, people have invented a schema for automating the task but as of yet, I have not seen one for the Nevo SL.

Good luck - Dave

Go on over to the ProntoPro NG files section (and forum). You will find plenty of help for CD/DVD jukeboxes. Look for pcf files from "Lowpro" (among others). You may need to download the ProntoPRo NG editor so you can read the files. It is available both on the Remote Central and Philips Pronto web sites. While there may be differences in the way programs are written for Nevo and Pronto, I'm sure that they are close enough so that you can copy over the general schema. Dave d'Arche is a pro at both devices. I'm sure he'd be willing to consult if you need help.

Does anyone know how to create a list that would scroll up and down like an ipod?

Highlighting without actual selection... eee... lots of duplicate pages one for each line highlighted. That would waste some space...
