anybody have the codes for a telewest cable box

I found at least two codes in the online database, using "L" as the search citeria. Go to the online model lookup and put in portions of your model # and see what you get. Keep trying different portions of the model #.
Worst case, it would take about 15 minutes to learn every key on teh remote, into the Nevo SL.

Be aware that many Telewest-provided STBs use a bastardized form of IrDA encoding which may not be learnable, even to a Nevo. So your only choice may be to locate a database code that works.
There was considerable discussion of this some time ago on the Pronto forum. To learn more, try searching that forum on "Telewest" or "Pace".
