i've purchased winzip online so i could open the pronto files and add buttons, etc to my library for use with the Nevo. i think i am doing things correctly by saving the files, then opening them in winzip and extracting them back to my documents folder. but when i open it, it opens with adobe reader and wont allow me to view anything as its "not a supprted file type".

any suggestions are appreciated, thanks, Christian

What's your pronto model? Where are you getting the file from?

I don't see any button or graphics files you can use.... Send me a link to a file you want.

I responded in the NG section but I'll also post the response here. Download and extract the zip file from Remote Central. Next, right click the PCF file which you just extracted and select "open with". Choose WinZip from the list. You will then be able to extract the graphics from it. Alternately, you can simply rename the .pcf extension as .zip and be good to go by then double clicking. Of course, as a Microsoft partner, I have to provide three ways to do everything so... you can also open WinZip and select open archive and change "Files of Type" from Zip files to be All files (*.*)... Cheers. :)

Here's what I do:
1. I download the file to my desktop. It arrives as a folder-looking icon with a zipper down the middle.
2. I open the folder and move the file within the folder to the desktop.
3. Next, I delete the folder leaving the file (that was once inside the zipped folder) on top the the desktop.
4. Right clck the file and choose "Rename" and change the suffix from .xxx to .zip.
5. Double click that folder that was created and all the .bmp files are there.
6. Move the files into the NevoStudio gallery area
