I've created a fairly straightforward configuaration for a NevoSL, but one or more of the buttons on the home page that executes a macro causes the screen to go black and half the pixels to go blank. This was occuring on the "Digital TV" button, so I tried removing everything except the page jump. Now the Digi TV button doesn't make the remote freeze, so the CD button is carrying the torch and causing a crash instead. I've tried other config files on this remote and have been unable to get it crashing, so it's possible the config file is messed up and not the hardware/firmware (which was updated this week). It would be a huge help if someone could download my config, put it on a Nevo and try out the buttons on the home page to see if they get the same crash.

This baffling BS is holding up payment, so any help would be fantastic.

I did download the config to NevoSL version 1.2.0.477 using a NevoStudio 1.2.0.477 and it worked fine.(BTW, the config looks nice and simple!)

What I would do is:
1. Make sure both NevoStudio and NevoSL versions are as mentioned above and make sure you re-download the config.
2. If you were still having the problem, contact nevo support.

Hi Chris -

Not sure if this is Good News or Bad News - I downloaded your file and it worked fine on my Nevo SL. I played around with it for 15-20 minutes - pushing every combination I could come up with - NO crashes!

Just an idea - do you think the firmware could be contaminated, maybe try another firmware update.

Ted
