I read in an earlier thread (early November) that the Nevo Link regires a bridge if you cannot hardwire it into a router. Is this true? I mean what are the chances that your router is going to be located where you would want a Nevo Link ... like in a close cabinet? Somebody please tell me I do need to now go buy a bridge to get the Nevo Link to work.

You need a bridge or a hard wire to the router. You need a WAP for the NEVO to talk too.
You seem to have the answer to your own question.
