Yes, I'm a newbie; I ordered my Nevo today, should be here in a few days. I have a delima with my current unit (MX-500) that I'm wondering if the Nevo will provide a work around. I have two Pioneer receivers, one upstairs, one down stairs. The units use most of the same IR codes. The unit downstairs has a remote IR receiver upstairs which transmits the IR code down to it soooo I have it's IR receiver disabled and have to control it manually. With the use of the Nevo Link (or any other method) is there a way to get the Nevo to control both units independently. I hope I've explained my delima well enough to understand.

You could use the NevoLink for one and the IR repeater system you already have for the other. The would put one unti (upstairs) working off WiFi and the other (downstairs working off IR (just be sure to disconnect the IR repeater from the unit with the NevoLink)
