1) I have my mp3 on my windows XP system and want to stream to diff rooms. Will the Nevo allow me to see my artist, titles, album, etc. on the remote and scroll quickly like Ipod at each site and what nevo device (or software) would I need at each site to do this. I currently use a netgear MP101, but would like something with a better interface, wireless to each room.

2)How many simultaneous mp3 streams would nevo support?

3)Any ability to synchronise music to whole house?

4) I would like to stream rhapsody to each site. Does Nevo support rhapsody music server?

5) If the above do not work, any other recomendations?

6)Does nevo support control of Heating/AC systems control? Thanks for the help.

The operative phrase here is "each site". Multiple Nevo's can be paired to different music stores. Each could see a different selection of music. Maybe the bigger question is does each site have its own equipment or does each site simply have speakers, back to one main system?


I have talked with Nevo tech support on this and I do not know if there is any limit. I am sure there is a bandwidth limitation at some point. They have confirmed two streams, so far, from the same single music server, by two different Nevo SL's.

Not sure what are mean here. One single music store to the whole house, would be pretty easy. Only limitation would be with the rest of your equipment.

I do see they support this server. I don't have a specific client who I know has done this yet. Maybe someone else does.

I would say, generally not, unless it could be a simple IR application., in one direction. I see this becoming more doable in the near future but IR is usually not the platform of choice, unless someone perfects a two-way info passing system, for IR.

The MP101 is not recognised by the Nevo SL when trying to set up Media Zones streaming. I had to switch to a Roku Soundbridge to get it working.
