Hey guys, amazing there is still some life left in the Nevo platform!! I am still a big fan and have many new units in boxes just for my future needs!! Hate to give it up. No longer involved in the industry just a user now.

I had NSP for Q50 working on my new Win 10 computer about 2 years ago but I think some update killed it. There is a very good post here on how to get it on Win 10 and I used that originally with no problems.

But I tried to follow the instructions again but could not get it to work. Anyone have any new ideas? In the meantime, I am using a older Win7 laptop to adjust programming if I need to. I hate to feel I have to keep an older Win7 box running just to fix programming on my Nevo Q50.

Or load Win7 in a virtual machine just to make it owrk on my Win 10 desktop.

Thx DD

Take a look at the recent posts regarding the URC MX980 and windows 10.  I bet the fix mentioned there will fix the Nevo issue too.

Duct, YOU DA MAN!
After reading through your suggested posts on the URC site here, for MX980 and Win 10, I was able to get my Nevo Q50 to communicate via USB. Yahoo! Thx a million. I was much easier than I thought it might be.
If anyone needs the instructions I followed, email me and I will pass along.

And CISPROG, LOL on having enough Nevo's to last for another 10 years, new in boxes, like me...I do find that even brand new Nevo products which are likely 5-10 years old or older, will likely need a new battery. I buy on eBay from Cameron Sino. When I was in business, I used to buy large quantities from him direct from China, which is what I resold on my old web site.

I also donated my instructions on how to open the Q50 and replace the battery, after I closed the biz, so people could do it themselves. It is one of the earlier posts in this area on this site.

Thx guys - Dave

We have a Nevo Q50 and Nevo Connect. It worked fine until we changed internet providers. The TV provider also updated the ATT Uverse receiver. We also replaced the ONKYO receiver. The TV works now, but we can't get the remote for Nevo Q50 to work. Also cannot get anyone on the Help Desk. Keep being referred to the website. Will we need to reinstall the Nevo Q50 remote? The message on the remote is: Device is not yet linked to a Z-Wave device. when pressing link it goes to the "virtual Home Control Devices. Cannot go past that message.

Not sure I find all of the necessary info in your post. It is now July, so possibly you figured it out. The Nevo is going to require new programming to work with any of the equipment which has been changed.

Did someone design and program the remote for you? If yes, you will need to talk with them and hope they still have your program file. The file will only work with NevoStudio Pro application on a Windows PC. The devices which have been replaced need to be removed and the new devices, Uverse, receiver, etc need to be added.

Good luck....
