I have been having an issue once we upgraded a Set Top Box when switched providers. S70 and NC been working fine for a couple of years and still works great with all other components. Have the correct IR code for the new STB and it tests fine with the S70 but when rerouting it to the NC and IR emitter the STB will not respond. Changed the IR emiitter twice and even changed the port on the NC but still not working. STB is a Motorola HD QIP 7216 1. Any ideas?

when you updated the remote, did it prompt you to do a firmware update on it?

if so, you must also update the firmware in the nevoconnect.

yeah I checked the firmware wizard and everything is up to date including my Nevo Studio Pro software. UEI hasn't released any updates for a very long time due to their new direction.

You must force an update to the NC50 connect.
At the top of the LCD display on the Q50 remote is a horizonal gray bar.
Touch this with the stylus.
Select settings->advanced settings- refresh-> it should refresh/update the NC-50 to the new IR settings for the new device. Once updated it will indicated that the connect has been updated, back back out to original screen.
I am doing this from memory, but the "refresh" is what needs to happen.
This sends the updated IR information & devices to the NC50 so it knows what to do and for what device.
