It's alright if it can't be taken out. I'm guessing you might say I can get rid of it some how?
Delete all Blocks except for the Hard Button, Switch and Actions Blocks. Join the Hard Button Block to the Switch. That's all you need.
BTW - what exactly is the NC-50 used for? All my componets are IR driven. Does it provide any benefit for IR. I installed it to my remotes job but didn't assign any component to individual ports.
Here's what I got:
Sony 40" LCD TV
Yamaha RX-V2700
Sony BDP-S550 Blu-Ray
Yamaha CD player
Comcast Motorola HD PVR
JVS DVD/VCR comb deck
Yamaha dual deck cassette player
Sony DSS HD Satellite STB
Looks as if it supports devices with RS-232, z-way, etc. but given my componets is there any reason to use it?
The NC-50 is used for IR and RS232 (2-way) control of your devices so you don't have to point the remote at your devices which makes it more reliable...use it!
See the training video on Nevo's site (Dealers section).
'Adding and programming NevoConnect base stations into a Job project.'
[Link: mynevo.com]You will need to buy
four double emitters with a single 3.5mm mono mini plug or get a
five pack.
You could use a
RS232 cable with a single 3.5mm mono mini plug for your Yamaha RX-V2700 and maybe your Sony TV (depends on your model) if you want 2-way control. You would need to learn how to create widgets to do 2-way.
You can also use the front IR Blaster of the NC-50.
Cheers
