First of all, I'm not going to pretend that I know much about the sytem I had installed in my home. Up to this point, if I had any problems, I was always able to figure it out. Well...not this time.

My nevo q50 all of the sudden isn't responding to my nc-50. Before it would tell me that it wasn't working by showing a little find button that I could select and that would be the end of it.

This time, it is acting like all is ok, but it is not working. The remote hasn't lost it's programming because the TV was not set up on the IR. The remote will still turn on and off the tv. There is no evidence of a problem on the remote (i.e. the normal warning isn't coming up that it lost the signal).

Any recommendations??? I didn't program the thing, so I don't wan to power down or reset anything and lose all of the settings.

Thank you for any input.

-Jason

On the back of the remote is a small reset button. It is near the serial number sticker.
Use the stylus and press it.

It will not do anything to your programming, just reset the remote.
Power cycle the NC-50 as-well.

The only thing that will cause you problems is if you press the reset on the NC-50 for 10sec when you power it back up. This is not a major issue more of a small annoyance as you will need to re-do the z-wave network.

If that does not work call your installer to come and have a look.

Did the reset thing and now I'm watching TV without 4 remotes, and a cabinet door wide open.

Thank you very much.
