I just purchased a Nevo S70. I plan on programming it myself but I cant install the Nevo Studio Pro software on the disk that comes with it as this is V1.1 which does not install on a 64 bit operating system.

I see V3.0 works on Vista 64 bit which is great but I cant install version 1.1 to register and upgrade!

As it is I've just purchased an expensive brick :-)

Any ideas on what i can do?

Thanks for your help!

Find an XP (or Vista 32) machine to install it on, even if it's somebody else's. Once you register, you can log in from your 64-bit machine and simply download NSP 3.0.

Yes, it's pain, I know. But it'll work.

I had the same problem for months now, solution was to upgrade to windows 7 64 bit which allows you to then download a free windows virtual pc set that allows you to use 32 bit xp programs. Check on the windows website for the correct win 7 version.

Contact your supplier.

They should be able to help you out with an install file for 3.0.

Thanks for all the help. BrodyBoy's tip did the trick nicely!

Any feedback on the best place to start for a Nevo newbie?
