Just got the opportunity to dl and setup this plugin today on a jobsite. I'm using a ZP90 as a source with a receiver and trying to get receiver volume control to work while navigating the Sonos interface.

When I originally added the Sonos plugin to the remote file, I selected the "use plugin settings for hard buttons" checkbox. That controlled the ZP90 variable volume just fine that way; only I wanted to use the receiver for that.

I looked through every "properties" pane I could find looking for a way to use the inherited volume from the Home page (where the Sonos button is); had to right-click on the button and re-add the plugin to get the checkbox to appear again. Deselected "use plugin settings..." and tried again.

This time the volume keys didn't control Sonos volume; but they also didn't send out any other codes.

I'm thinking about going back to using the Sonos volume and controlling the receiver with rs-232 so I can set a preset when switching to Sonos activity.

Does the plugin override all inherited codes? Or should I be able to use 'external' volume codes with it?

Yes.

I think Nevo are looking to make some changes but I can't be 100%.
