I bought my s70 about 6 months ago. It worked perfectly, but now the screen displays like its runing in low color mode. There are streakes all over the screen. When I press the sides of the remote the screen gets back to normal until I remove my hand.

I can't find the original distributor to replace the remote. Is there anything that can be done?

Where are you located?  Have you tried doing a dealer search at www.mynevo.com  ?  If your original dealer is out of business, another dealer should be able to take care of you.

I am in NY. What info do I need to provide for the new dealer? We were moving and most of the papers got mixed up so I can't find the receipt.

I might be able to take care of you.  I'm in NJ.  I will be out of the office Thursday, but I will contact Nevo on Friday and see if I can handle your warranty claim for you.   I'm not sure if they need a receipt or if they can just track the production date of the remote by the SN.

In the meantime you might want to call these places:

Duct Tape,

Thanks for helping me out with this. I would really appreciate it if you can contact them for me. Do you want me to send you the serial number?

Thanks!

Also, I called A.D.R. Studios, Inc. and they told me that there is nothing they can do about it! It would really suck if I am stuck with a $1,200 paperweight :(

yes, send me a PM with the serial number and I will contact them.  I didn't get around to it today.  I was out of the office today as well.

Maybe, but he's posted other comments in other threads, too.  I think he just really doesn't get what the "S70 screen" discussion was about.  He seems to sell little surveillance video screens or something.....
