why can't the Q50 learn of a Pace D4000T remote. Remote no. RC16401/00
The database does not have this exact model.
The info button does not seem to work...?

I don't think I've ever been around that type of device before, but here are a few things to try:
1. I noticed that the Nevo software usually assigns a "Display" function to the "Info" button. So I'd try to take a look at the commands that you do have for that device and see if there is a "Display" function listed and try that.
2. Maybe try to use the "Advanced Keys" button to see if you can find an "info" or "display" function there.
3. It sounds like you are using some IR commands on the device right now, but where did you find those? Do they belong to a device with a simliar model number? If you didn't find the exact model number, maybe you should use the "Browse for device code by device type and brand" option in the Add Device Wizard to test and find a code set there that will work with your box.

I have a feeling that #1 will help you, but hopefully you'll find what you need. I have programmed a decent amount of Nevo controllers and thus have noticed that their software references different names for the same function, but it's not that often and on the whole their database is pretty damn good.

Good luck.

Did you try the model based search? I got an exact match on D4000T and it does have an info command in the advanced keys section...

Thanks guys,
My Pace unit was replaced yesterday as it had a longtime screen display fault and it's now exchanged for a samsung. I have tried with the samsung and manage getting the info of the software.
So I have loaded all the remotes(learn and retrieved of the software), looks positive. But on the command menu of the program I can't get the "if then else " icon to function, it's greyed out. What have I selected that I should not whilst the other icons are programmable.

I think that this is the only hurdle that I seem to have at the moment. I have played with the properties and it's all 'pretty sweet 'thus far.

You need to add a Global Flag first. Select the Global Objects tab and then the Add Global Object Wizard (Gears+ Icon).

Cheers
Jason
