OK, I know this may be a stupid question, but I'm asking because I'm tired & lazy after having just upgraded to a Windows 7 computer. Will NevoStudio Pro support configuration of an old Nevo SL?

Somehow, someway, contrary to all the problems noted in this forum, I got Nevo Studio Pro to work on my [now old] Vista machine, and I still love my SL and really have no need/desire to upgrade to an S70 at this time. But now, with the new computer, I'm not sure what I'm going to do if/when I need to make config changes to the SL.

I realize that I might be able to get Nevo Studio 2.0 to work on my new computer if I run it in XP Mode, but that's only available in Win7 Professional, and I have Home Premium. So that leaves me with only one option...upgrade the new computer (which is only 3 days old) to Win7 Professional just so I can run Nevo Studio 2.0, just so I can maintain the config in my perfectly functional Nevo SL. Uggghhh...

Any advice? Am I missing something? Or, by some wonderful act of God, will NevoStudio Pro 3.0 support my SL?

nope, pro only supports the Q50 and S70.   this did not change with 3.0.  you still need nevostudio for the SL.

OK, that's what I figured, but had to ask. So I guess I'll have to break down and buy an S70 already.

Can anyone get flags and if/then to work on buttons? They seem to be disabled...

Just tried If/Then with global flags and worked just fine... Two btns to set the flag to diff values, and a button to beep on one of the values...

Scratch that- I see... you need to define them or the function wont work. Sorry, used to RTI where you can do that on the fly...

This is pretty freakin awesome. I'm not used to it yet, I probably do about 1 out of 10 for every remote I program, but I'm liking this alot. Definately going to order a few tomorrow and push them. The Sonos app is very good.

i've been playing around with my Directv receiver trying to get channel feedback on the remote via rs232.  I can get the entire string hex string to show up on the remote.  But havent figured out how to convert the hex to decimal in the widget programming.   i've stayed up too late playing around.  i'm going to bed.  night night.

p.s.  the animated gifs kick ass... finally we can let the animation run while commands are being sent in the background.  nice!!
