Hi there, does anyone have any news on when the new version of the S/ware is going to be available? Saw it at ISE in Amsterdam and cannot wait to have a play...

Official word is Q1. 2010.
So going by that it should be no more than 4 weeks away.
I would say that it would be sooner than that though.

I'm with you - I've been waiting to set up my S70 until this comes out - I can't wait.... finally, global flags.... that was my only complaint about the remote - well, that and no internal motion sensor....

So did I... does anyone out there have a realistic release date...
Between this and the squareconnect iphone app (for controlling Micasaverde) that doesn't seem to get any closer to release, the suspense is killing me.

From a developers standpoint, release dates always remain internal and are subject to delays depending on last minute things such as bugs, security issues, damage to the actual remote, etc. I was anxiious as well but then I realized my patience is not as strong as my suspense level - don't want to be troubleshooting bugs for the next 5 jobs and left scratching my head because UEI didnt test it thoroughly.
There have been so many times when a new product/application/software version was hyped up and I was in agony waiting for it to come out. Then, only days later I had wished in hindsight that the company held on to the damn thing a little longer so they can insure that everyday situations and scenarios are tested thoroughly. Nothing is ever going to be glitch free, but I would hope they are delaying or prolonging this release for the sake of testing and implementation.

He said he would pay me back $2.5 million. I have yet to see a penny :( and he also lied about the March 15th date for the 3.0 release. Bastard!!!!
