Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has come across documentation detailing the pinout of the IR input on the back of the Pace DC758D HD digital cable box. I've searched high and low but have come up with squat. I just need to know if a mono plug will suffice. I don't want to test it out because I'd hate to send a voltage signal that may fry the port or the box itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Eric

i have wired i/r splices backwards by mistake without damaging anything.  i think you are pretty safe to assume that it is a tip positive mono plug.
