I have been using my Q50 for a few months now and I am totally pleased with it. The only issues I've ever had were due to programmer error and have been very easy to troubleshoot. However, I am not sure if I should leave the remote on the charging cradle when I am not using it or leave it off and only charge it when the battery is getting low. I know with old batteries you wanted them to discharge as much as possible before recharging them but I don't think this is necissarily the case with new batteries. What do you all recommend? Only charge when the battery is getting low or always leave it charging when not in use?

In regards to battery-

How long does the battery normally last for you? (I understand that obviously the more you use it the quicker it drains)

My remote is not used during the day, and I use it at night, but nothing crazy - i get roughly around 2.5 to 3 days life out of it.

Is that normal?

Also, in the event that the battery goes bad - is there a way to replace it?

mine lasts a few days off the charger when not in use.  

nevo will replace the  battery for around $30

there is a DIY way to do it that was posted in this section awhile back.  but i think I would rather pay nevo.

How does that service work?

I guess you ship them the remote ? Any idea how long they take ?

the only time i sent one back was for a Nevo SL battery.  that was awhile ago, but i think turn around time was about a week.  you just need to call them and setup the return or you can probably just submit a trouble ticket if you would rather go through emails.
