I am having an issue connecting my NevoConnect to my S70. Every time I run through the setup wizard, and try to add my Nevo Connect, it tells me "B93BE0.2 successfully added. Had Requested NC-FamilyRoom. Please Add it Next." What's odd is if I keep trying to add it next, it just keeps adding to the next node number (shows an icon like a regular controller). I have added no other z-wave devices to the S70. I'm lost... anyone experience anything like this?

Edit: I have tried reinstalling firmware on the remote and the NevoConnect several times. Nothing seems to be working.

Make sure the NevoConnect is the first device you add. Once it's added, you should be fine. Perhaps removing all devices from your Zwave network, reset the S70 to defaults (therefore clearing the zwave network from it's memory) and re-adding all of your devices. Hopefully that works.

Hi,

I have seen this before.

Try re-flashing the f/w on the NC-50.

If that does not work then it may be a faulty NC-50. I have had 2 units do this. 1 was fixed with the f/w flash and the other was just dead. My distributer simply replaced the unit.

I've tried both of the suggested methods. I've refreshed the firmware on both devices. Done system resets, etc... nothing seems to work. I did notice one something peculiar though - maybe one of you guys can help.
When I add the NC50 to the S70, it adds as a dead node - I can't update or communicate with it, and as I mentioned it doesn't allow me to add it as my static controller. Anyway, after I add the NC50, and then plug the NC50 into my computer, pull up the config on the NC50 and click verify... then configure services, under z-wave services, it shows the Node ID as 1 and the network id (ZHID) as a different network id than my S70. Can someone else check their's and tell me if that's the case on a working configuration?
In theory, I would imagine the ZHID should match and the Node ID should be at least 2, correct?
