Hi all,

Well, everything is in the title...
I'd just like to deactivate WiFi on the remote to reduce power consumption.

So on Nevostudio Pro I go to "Nevo System Settings..." (right clic or icon bar) I untick "Enable WiFi" on access tab, thus logically WiFi tab gets its items unselectable. Note that lower left button "Copy to Configurations" is unselectable too, which is maybe an issue. I click "OK" button, and when downloading configuration to Nevo, WiFi is still on (WiFi "ball" animates on the screen, and Internet still here).

This is frustrating !

In case anyone could help, this would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance...

Well, if anyone has the same issue...
I could finally solve it : I had an Icon that was supposed to call Internet/IMDB, and in that case even if you deactivate Wifi, for any reason (a bug maybe) the system automatically re-activates it.

What is great is that since WiFi is off my S70 has doubled its battery capacity, which is a really great deal...

Hi,

Nice work.

It is not a bug. It is trying to stop people from making the mistake of not enabling wifi when you have something that requires wifi programmed into the remote.

I.E. Why would you have a weather page on the remote if you didn't want to use it?

D.
