Hi

Is it possible to use homseer on a nevo controled z-wave network? I am having difficulty in finding any info on how this could be done.

Thanks in advance

Phil

Yes. I have Homeseer running as a secondary controller to my Nevo Q50 (as primary). First you need to pair all of your devices with your S70. When that is done and all of the devices are in their places, optimize the network. Go to your Homeseer server and do a "replicate receive" (this will essentially turn your Homeseer server into a secondary controller and get all of it's info from the remote). On your S70 (I'm assuming that the Nevo Ecosystem menus are the same as on the Q50), you will need to use Add Node and pair with the Homeseer system.

Hope that helps.

Eric

ps. remember to use your primary controller to add and delete devices from the network, not Homeseer.

I have done some test with Homeseer en S70
All did work well without changing the primary controller

Just added the S70 to the network (Aeon Stick)
Used the link option on the S70 for controlling devices.
When new device is added just select the node name from this list of available device.
Homeseer and S70 can control devices.

Update:
I have managed to add the Homeseer server as IP device.
All the devices and events can be controlled from Nevo.
Next step is status updates of Homeseer devices on the Nevo

This is pretty cool... Can you share the project in the projects area so that we play with it?

Still working on this project..
Having some problems accessing password protected parts.
Steps are easy if you can acces your Homeseer in the local network without password. ( I have this part protected for security reasons)

Steps:
Download the freeware tenServer and install on the Homeseer server.
[Link: tenholder.net]

Create a Ip device on the Nevo.

Device:
Name It the function you want.
Homeseer Toggle (In my case)

Settings Page:
Connection method : http:https
Url: [Link: 192.168.1.100]

Functions:
Add Functions

Function: Kitchen light (Device name)
Command :A1 (Homeseer device Code)

You can add many as you want.
Just assign the functions to buttons

The button will toggle the Homeseer device you have created.

There are lot of other options in tenserver
All the options are available just from url and can be used in Nevo.
Best is to create a Ip device for every option like events, command etc.

All can also doen from 1 Ip device in that case the command line will be a bit longer.
