I'm new to the Neo and have been reading through the forums for information on how to convert CCF IR codes to NCF codes. I've downloaded ProntoEdit and NeoHacker and numerous CCF files for my equipment. What I want to do is to convert the graphical page layouts in the CCF to an NCF format so I won't have to make them in NeoEdit. Is this possible? I've also tried to get the IR codes for the buttons in the CCF's by accessing the properties for each button and in the action tab clicking on "set IR" then clicking on "view IR". The problem is nothing ever comes up in the IR code box - it's blank. I must be doing something wrong. I think I understand the process correctly once I get the IR code. I copy it and paste it into NeoHacker to get the correct NCF code and link that to the button in the NCF file. How does this differ from just having the ProntoNeo "learn" the button manually? And do I have to repeat the conversion manually for every button on every page? I was hoping there was a more automated way to do it. Thanks very much for your help!!

You can view the CCF in ProntoEdit and press PRINT SCREEN on your computer,The you paste it into MS Paint. Then you can modify as you like and save it an an BMP file. Finally import it into Neoedit.

1. I've noticed that people creating ccf files have a folder with all the IR codes and everything is linked to that folder. You need to find where the IR codes are in that ccf. Typically you will see somthing like this in the "Action" box [C]Power. Double click on it and if there is an IR code it will display. The reason no IR code appears when you press set IR is because its ready to accept a new IR code via learning or copying an IR code in.
2. You can save a bmp by right clicking the button in the icon tab under properties and pressing save. This will save the button and you can edit it to work on the neo - 4 bit gray scale.
When pasting the IR code in neohacker the button needs to be learned already and you can paste it by ctrl+v Right clicking doesn't work. Hope this helps. John
